Deliverables

Located in the heart of a quintessential New England coastal town, Wiglesworth’s Mercantile curates beautiful gifts and creations made by over 45 local artists, makers, farmers, and fishermen.

Initial Concepts

Wiglesworth’s is not a touristy gift shop nor an art gallery, but somewhere in between. Our first conversation covered the themes of nostalgia and a modern aesthetic and how to reconcile these two ideas at Wiglesworth’s. For the logo, shop owner Anne asked for a wordmark with a memorable component.

Did you see the wiggle in that g?
That’s the one.

Anne does an amazing job curating the mercantile’s selection. Every time we visit, there’s a new artist or creation to see. She’s also willing to reorder gifts not currently in stock, like the farm-grown loofa soap your mom fell in love with last Christmas. If you’re ever in Portsmouth, stop in.
